For its best-in-class regional operational efficiency, Crédit Agricole CIB has once again received JPMorgan’s Elite Quality Recognition.

Well-regarded US dollar payment services

For almost 15 consecutive years, Crédit Agricole CIB has been awarded by the JPMorgan’s Elite Quality Recognition for its exceptional efficiency in payment services to clients across Asia, particularly in Straight-Through Processing (STP) of direct money transfers in US dollar - an outstanding 99.70% STP rate over the average of 89-90% in the industry, earning the Elite title in the 2024 award.

In 2024, the Bank was notably acknowledged in Korea and Singapore. Since 2008, the Korea franchise has consistently achieved this recognition, while its transaction volume has steadily increased. The Singapore franchise has been awarded since 2009 and continues to strive and achieve greater efficiency and productivity, particularly through the automation of application supporting operations, underpinned by intelligence and contextuality.

It demonstrates Crédit Agricole CIB's consistency in maintaining highest standards for international settlements, ensuring a timely, efficient, and secure execution across transactions. This recognition is also a clear evidence of the expertise and dedication of our Operations teams across countries and all platforms in the region, whether they are responsible for processing transactions, reviewing documentation, performing necessary controls or setting all static datas to ensure the accurate processing of the client's payment.

A widely regarded mark of excellence

Established in 1997 by JPMorgan, one of the world’s largest financial institutions by market value and the world's largest US dollar clearing agent, this award is widely regarded as a mark of excellence, highlighting US dollar clearing clients who have achieved a high level of operational efficiency. Each year, less than 1% of approximately 5,000 financial institutions providing payment services are able to meet the SWIFT international standards and exceed JPMorgan performance benchmark.

STP mechanisms offer financial service providers significant benefits, including shorter processing cycles, reduced settlement risk, and lower operating costs. These transactions use modern electronic instruction systems such as SWIFT - a vast messaging network banks that financial institutions use to send and receive information, such as money transfer instructions.

Enhancing clients’ digital banking experience

To further strengthen its payment services capabilities and better serve its clients, Crédit Agricole CIB has been adopting advanced technologies, such as automation and robotics  in capital markets, trade finance, and cash management activities. Its development in artificial intelligence and natural language processing for foreign exchanges, securities and trade finance related activities have also contributed to improve operational efficiency, ensuring faster and more secure transactions’ booking as well as reduce operational risk.
