Solidarity, cultural patronage, and Research and Development

Crédit Agricole CIB has built an active and comprehensive corporate patronage policy based on strong themes in line with the Crédit Agricole Group’s social project and regional roots. True to its values of solidarity and closeness, the Crédit Agricole Group has historically paid particular attention to initiatives that improve education, public health and the access to culture in France and abroad. 

Solidarity Patronage

For 13 years now, Crédit Agricole CIB has supported various causes through:

  • Les Coups de Pouce Solidaires, projects created by organisations, led by employees and financially supported by the Bank, in the fields of solidarity and social integration, the environment, education, health and culture, in France and abroad.
     
  • Solidarity events such as the Financial Community Téléthon, toy, clothing and food collections, and the preparation of meals for the homeless, involving employees. At the end of 2025, “Solidarity Week” brought together more than 30 solidarity events organised by Crédit Agricole CIB entities in France and abroad.
     
  • Skills and volunteer sponsorship, which allow employees to use their time and/or skills for a specific association and mission.
     
  • Payroll giving, whereby employees have the opportunity to make a monthly donation, 100% matched by Crédit Agricole CIB, to one of these organisations in France: Hôpital Necker-Enfants malades, Institut Curie, Entourage, Cartable Fantastique, Pure Ocean Will open in a new tab .
     
  • Participative patronage campaign: the Bank offers employees the opportunity to choose impact projects as part of thematic campaigns. The projects they choose are then financed by the Bank.

In emergency situations, such as the floods in Emilia-Romagna, Ukraine or Covid-19, Crédit Agricole CIB supports the actions of the Crédit Agricole Group.

Crédit Agricole CIB relies on long-standing partnerships with organisations in France and internationally to make it possible for employees to devote their time to initiatives that mean a lot to them.

EUROPE

In France:

  • AFM-TelethonCrédit Agricole CIB has supported the AFM-Telethon for more than 15 years and contributes to the organisation of the Financial Community Telethon race.
     
  • EquiAction: the “Mediation with equines and life course” project consists of accompanying elders in EPHAD (retirement houses), by offering them equine mediation sessions. EquiAction is the endowment fund of the French Riding Federation.
     
  • Esteka: the launch of the Maison des Familles Esteka was supported by the Bank, with the aim of promoting and promoting the inclusion of children with disabilities or developmental delays, and offering support to their families.
     
  • Linkee: the deployment of Linkee's activity in Marseille was supported by the Bank, with the aim of combating the food insecurity of Marseille students.
     
  • Plastic Odyssey: this partnership, formed in 2019, focuses on environmental protection – particularly the issue of plastic consumption and its alternatives – and financial inclusion.

In Italy :

  • Crédit Agricole CIB supports Save the Children, which ensures that children around the world have access to health care, food, shelter and education. Banco Alimentare is also supported for its food collection and distribution to the most deprived.

In the Nordics:

  • In 2026, Crédit Agricole CIB Nordics participated in the Stafettvasan relay, which enabled a donation to the Trygga Barnen association, which works for the well-being of children in vulnerable situations. This employee-driven initiative combined the Bank's commitment to health and teamwork with meaningful social impact.
     

In Spain:

  • Grandes Amigos Foundation works to combat loneliness among the elderly through intergenerational connections. Crédit Agricole CIB Spain colleagues volunteer their time accompanying seniors on cultural outings, including visits to museums and shared meals that create meaningful bonds between generations.
     
  • Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) works to achieve 70% cancer survival rates and eliminate inequities in care. Crédit Agricole CIB teams participate in fundraising races and awareness campaigns in support of patients, families, and survivors.
     
  • Adecco Foundation promotes workplace inclusion and raises awareness about gender violence, disability inclusion, and employment equity. The foundation's ambassadors regularly engage with Crédit Agricole CIB teams to foster safe and inclusive work environments.
     

In the United Kingdom :

  • New York Cares, New York’s largest volunteer network, supports more than 1,300 non-profits, public schools and municipal organisations.
     
  • The Bowery Mission has served generations of New Yorkers with food, safe shelter, clothing and medical care. 

ASIA PACIFIC

In Hong Kong

  • Crédit Agricole CIB works with Time Auction to connect our colleagues with NGOs in need of skilled volunteers.
     

In India

  • Crédit Agricole CIB India supports Action against Hunger in its mission to combat malnutrition and hunger among vulnerable communities. Through this partnership, we contribute towards early screening, treatment of anemia and malnutrition, nutrition education, and community-based interventions aimed at ensuring long-term health, growth, and development outcomes.
     
  • The Bank supports St Jude ChildCare Centres- in providing a safe, secure, hygienic accommodation and holistic support and care to needy, out-station families with cancer affected children under treatment in big cities.
     
  • Crédit Agricole CIB India supports Habitat for Humanity in efforts to provide safe and affordable housing, solar lighting and school sanitation units for underserved communities. Through this association we contribute towards building stronger communities by enabling families to live with dignity, security and improved living conditions.
     
  • The Bank supports Aseema Charitable Trust in its commitment to delivering quality education to children from marginalized backgrounds. Through this partnership, we help empower students through holistic learning opportunities and long-term support aimed at creating sustainable futures.
     

In Singapore:

  • Hao Ren Hao Shi alleviates food insecurity by distributing food and essentials to low-income and vulnerable groups through community partnerships. Every month, staff across the Crédit Agricole Group in Singapore support the cause by volunteering at island-wide food distributions to those in need.
     

In Taiwan:

  • Crédit Agricole CIB has a long-term partnership to support Boyo Social Welfare Foundation, with a particular focus on vulnerable children to offering after-school instruction programs. 
     
  • The Bank supports the Aboriginal chorus of Chang Bin High School aimed at preserving a sustained cultural partnership 
     
  • The Bank builds a supportive network for homeless people with Homeless Association Taiwan Will open in a new tab and enable them to self-sufficient.

Cultural patronage

Crédit Agricole CIB supports cultural projects that encourage artistic creation, access to the performing arts and the transmission of cultural heritage and accessibility to culture.

EUROPE

In France:

  • Opéra National de Parisas a patron of Opéra National de Paris since 2017, Crédit Agricole CIB supports the major events of this institution, whose objective is to make lyric art and dance heritage accessible to as many people as possible. Crédit Agricole CIB has thus become a patron of the growing international visibility of Opéra National de Paris.
     
  • Festival d’Aix-en-Provence: The Association pour le Festival International d’Art Lyrique and the Académie Européenne de Musique produce and broadcast lyric art.
     
  • Abbaye aux Dames: support for the dynamic heritage of the Abbaye aux Dames through the development of innovative mediation and valorisation tools. 
     

In Spain:

  • Crédit Agricole CIB supports El Teatro Real de Madrid, Spain's leading opera house and one of the country's most important cultural institutions. Our patronage helps Teatro Real continue its vital mission of bringing opera to new generations and underserved communities, ensuring this art form remains vibrant and inclusive.

  • Crédit Agricole CIB supports cultural transmission with The National Gallerya leading London institution boasting one of the world’s most important collections of paintings.

  • Crédit Agricole CIB supports MNA Youth 1+1 Music project. Through this initiative, more young audience were able to attend the concert, as well as promoting classical musical and cultural exchange, it aligns well with our commitment to long-term cultural engagement and youth development.

Research and Development

Supporting teaching and research corresponds to two major Crédit Agricole CIB objectives: to be involved in the production of knowledge and dialogue between the academic and business worlds, and to contribute to the development of high-impact projects that meet the needs of the economic world. 

  • The Sustainable Finance and Development Chair at Université Paris Dauphine and Ecole Polytechnique: this research and innovation project brings together specialists in quantitative finance, mathematicians and sustainable development experts. Through this support, Crédit Agricole CIB is affirming its goal to create a balance between economic, environmental and social issues.
     
  • The Fintech / Digital Finance Chair at Université Paris Dauphine: the aim of this partnership, formed in 2019, is to create an ecosystem combining research, teaching and entrepreneurship on the theme of digital finance.
     
  • The Corporate Initiative of Fondation HEC: this partnership is part of the financing of a training course on mergers and acquisitions.
     
  • “Climate Change & Sustainable Finance” MSc at EDHEC Business School: through this innovative course developed by EDHEC Business School and Ecole des Mines ParisTech, Crédit Agricole CIB, Crédit Agricole Nord de France and Amundi are able to invest in a pioneering programme aimed at training future finance professionals on the objectives of sustainable finance and the integration of environmental, social and governance factors into their future decisions.
     
  • “Physics Otherwise” Chair of Université Paris Saclay: since 2021, the Bank has supported the popularisation of quantum physics through the “Physics Otherwise” Chair of Université Paris Saclay.
     
  • “Capital Markets of Tomorrow” Chair of Institut Europlace de Finance Louis Bachelier and Université de Paris: since 2022, Crédit Agricole CIB supports this chair, the aim of which is to contribute to a better understanding of the modelling and calculation challenges involved in tomorrow’s capital markets.
     
  • Blockchain For Good: Crédit Agricole CIB has been supporting Blockchain For Good since 2023 with the aim of promoting, supporting and contributing to fundamental or applied research in digital innovation that:
    • Promote sustainable development that respects women and men, living beings and the planet,
    • Meet the needs of the present without compromising the needs of future generation,
    • Contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations.
    • The Back and Middle Office Professional Degree in Corporate and Investment Banking at Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin: Thanks to this sandwich course launched in 2021, students are able to develop their knowledge and put it into practice at a company.
       
  • Le Village by CA: Will open in a new tab this long-standing partnership with Village by CA, the Crédit Agricole Group’s start-up incubator and accelerator, enables Crédit Agricole CIB to contribute to the Bank’s digital transformation, innovating in an open world with clients, start-ups, research and academia in line with our values of collaboration and sharing.
