Japan, 15 April 2026 – Crédit Agricole CIB Japan and Crédit Agricole Life Insurance Japan, both entities of the Crédit Agricole Group, today announced the opening of their new office at Azabudai Hills Mori JP Tower, located in the heart of one of Tokyo's premier international financial districts

Timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of Crédit Agricole's presence in Japan, this move underscores the Group's long-standing commitment to one of the world’s most important and sophisticated financial markets. It also reflects the Group’s confidence in Japan’s economic outlook and its continued dedication to supporting international clients as well as businesses, institutions and individuals as a trusted long-term partner.

A stratégic step in japan

The relocation further illustrates the entities’ collective contribution to the Group’s medium-term plan, ACT 2028, announced last November. The organisation of the new workspace has been designed to foster closer collaboration among teams and strengthen synergies across the Group’s business activities.

A modern and energy-efficient workspace

The new office brings together over 350 employees from Crédit Agricole CIB and Crédit Agricole Life Insurance in Japan, in a modern energy-efficient workplace on the 50th floor of the building. The tower is Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum-certified, one of the highest global standards in sustainable building design, recognising excellence in energy efficiency, water conservation, and environmental performance.
