Le mardi 26 août, SSE plc est revenue pour la troisième fois cette année sur le marché européen par l’intermédiaire de l’entité émettrice, Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission PLC, qui fait partie de Scottish & Southern Electricity Network (SSEN) Transmission, avec une obligation verte de premier rang non garantie de 750 millions d’euros à 8 ans.

The proceeds will finance or refinance critical infrastructure, including upgrades across the north of Scotland’s electricity network as part of SSE’s £22 billion-plus investment programme—supporting the UK’s 2030 net-zero targets.

This deal marks SSEN Transmission’s second EUR-bond issuance and the tenth green bond by the SSE Group in eight years, and reaffirms its status as the UK’s largest corporate issuer of green bonds.

Crédit Agricole CIB acted as joint bookrunner.
