Hosting the fourth 'Women in Maritime' event in celebration of the International Day for Women in Maritime

The event was chaired by Michelle Mahmood, Director, Shipping & Offshore Finance and started with a presentation by Sarah Holden, of Clarksons Research, followed by a round table discussion with Yngvil Åsheim of BW LNG, Ariane Saverys of Exmar, Alexandra Michalopoulos of Laskaridis Maritime, and Pia Meling of OSM Thome. 

The panel discussed a range of pertinent issues such as the impact of geopolitical instability, crew welfare, safety and recruitment, digital transformation as well as ship technology advancements and innovation. 

Each panellist spoke of the huge tasks ahead for the sector whilst passionately highlighting the opportunities open to everyone to enjoy a fascinating career in a dynamic and diverse industry.
