Crédit Agricole CIB supported KKR on their acquisition of Park Grand London Kensington Hotel
Crédit Agricole CIB acted as the Green Structurer, Mandated Lead Arranger, Bookrunner, Facility Agent, and Hedging Counterparty for this first acquisition transaction since the launch of KKR and Amante Capital’s new European hotel platform.
KKR, a leading global investment firm, and Amante Capital, the UK-based hotel platform and strategic partner of KKR, announced the acquisition of the 132-key Park Grand Kensington Hotel in London, UK.
The transaction marks the first acquisition by KKR and Amante Capital since the launch of their joint hotel platform in 2022.
Located in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, the Park Grand Kensington Hotel will undergo refurbishment and will be rebranded and repositioned at a boutique lifestyle hotel under Marriott International’s Tribute Portfolio brand.
Crédit Agricole CIB supported the transaction by offering a 5-year green facility for re-development. The refurbishment aims to enhance environmental credentials and ESG performance of the property, reflecting KKR, Amante Capital and Crédit Agricole CIB’s commitment to an increasingly sustainable hospitality real estate industry.
